WHAT IS PCOA
With more than 190 active members, PCOA is one of the largest professional organisations of orthopaedic surgeons in PCMC and the neighborhood. It focuses on the social networking of professionals for the exchange of scientific information as well as the sharing of experience and knowledge. Along with discussing various instances, issues from their everyday work, legal matters, and other topics, the members also share other essential topics among themselves.
This group has taken a significant jump toward ethics in medical practice and established an environment of mutual trust and faith, creating awareness in the public arena for a bigger social cause. The organization endeavors hard to smooth out service delivery to patients in the PCMC area, and addresses issues and problems of their members in all facets related to practice.
WHAT IS PCOA
PCOA is one of the largest professional groups of orthopedic Surgeons in PCMC and the surrounding area which has more than 150 active members. It focuses on the social networking of professionals for the purpose of experience and knowledge sharing and to exchange of scientific information. The members also interact about different cases, daily practice-related issues, legal issues, and much more.

Greetings!!!
We start this year with great enthusiasm.
Before embarking on this academic journey let us not forget the basis of starting this organization:
To stand United as an Orthopedic family and Invoke a sense of brotherhood while enriching our academic experience.
This year we take a step forward, hence the theme for this year is
“Improve Your Skills“
This involves surgical skills as well as soft skills.
In this respect, we have planned various hands-on workshops, and live surgery symposia along with our regular ( trademark) monthly meets.
I appeal to you to participate in these events in our quest for excellence.
Also in store are social events – walkathons, runathons, treks, and also family programs.
So let’s Come together, Stay together and Progress together !!!!
Secretary`s Note
Greetings to all my colleagues and senior members of PCOA. I am obliged & privileged to fulfil the responsibility as secretary of this prestigious PCOA. The sapling of PCOA, which was planted three years ago, is now taking shape of a big tree. I am thankful to all of you who trusted me and bestowed the secretary post on me. I assure that I will strive hard to fulfil this responsibility. PCOACON-2022, the first-ever annual conference held at Khandala was a great success. The grand success of this conference would have not been possible without the support and unity of all members of PCOA. The unity shown by all members was indeed remarkable! I expect the same unity in all future endeavors of PCOA. Till now, our Association has conducted Academic
activities. Now it’s time to take over some social activities also. I wish PCOA to be a more successful & powerful organization henceforth.
